TEAM LEAD
We’re looking for a Team Lead for the upcoming season that runs from July- November. This position entails overseeing team members in the shop and at events.
This is a very customer service oriented and managerial role. We’re looking for candidates that have experience in food service (restaurant, hotel, catering, or food truck), retail, or customer service with managerial experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Oversee day-to-day operations of shop and events.
● Administrative duties including event scheduling, food truck, and catering events, ensuring proper staffing is allocated for each event, and monthly inventory. Work closely with owner to plan for upcoming events and staffing
● Coach and train team members as needed according to company standards
● Maintain product knowledge and answer any questions customers may have with excellent customer service
● Setup and breakdown of shop, food truck and events display including tents, moving heavy equipment, tables, signage, etc
● Ensure everything is packed correctly before leaving for events in a timely manner, ensure everything gets put back in place upon return according to company standards
● Follow guidelines set forth by our events and partners to ensure our success and return invitation for future seasons and events
● Safely drive food truck to and from events, deliver wholesale orders as needed
● Effectively manage labor to ensure the entire team works with a sense of urgency with excellent customer service, and that they have the tools needed to succeed
● Other duties as assigned
Requirements
● Ability to stand on your feet for several hours outside
● Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds
● Be able to plan and prepare for a variety of events with many moving parts
● Reliable transportation to our shop and event sites around the Metro area
● Flexible working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
● Clean driving record
● This position is subject to background check and fingerprinting due to the nature of the role

● has a minimum of 2 years experience in related field managing people: catering, events, farmers markets, restaurants, or food truck

This is a very customer service oriented role. We’re looking for candidates that have experience in food service (restaurant, hotel, catering, or food truck), retail, or customer service.

● Be the face of the brand and assist with all customer service from serving the ice cream and specials to ringing up transactions and cash handling at events
● Maintain product knowledge and answer any questions customers may have with excellent customer service
● Setup and breakdown of Ice Cream shop according to company standards
● Setup and breakdown of pop up event display including tents, moving heavy equipment, tables, signage, etc
● Ensure everything is packed correctly before leaving for events in a timely manner, ensure everything gets put back in place upon return according to company standards
